Yes, Isabelle does sleep!

We thought we would post a few images of our little angel getting her beauty sleep. Isabelle loves to sleep in her car seat, swing and while being cuddled.

September Beach Visit

Isabelle took a minute out of her busy weekend to make her first trip to the beach with Mom, Dad, Nana and Papa. It was a picture perfect Fall day with not a cloud in the sky. The beach is a very special place for Mom and Dad and Isabelle loved the waves and sand. We can't wait to bring her to the beach in her swimsuit next summer!!

Busy Weekend

This weekend we paraded our little Miss Isabelle throughout the state of MA visiting her new friends and family. We had a great time hanging out with everyone and here are a few glimpses into our weekend travels.

Today, some of our city friends (Ricki, Ezra, Sean and Darlene) came and visited Isabelle. We all had a lot of fun talking about babies, life, and of course poop!! There visit included a viewing of a diaper changing and we are all still in awes of what Isabelle's digestion system is capable of!! Our friends all had a chance to hold little Isabelle and she loved the attention. As the picture shows Sean's stature shows a real life comparison between a large grown man and our little peanut. Enjoy!!

Mom and Dad have discovered our little miracle is a true "water baby". No matter Miss Isabelle's state once we put her ear near the running water she calms right down and is super content!! We have used this to our advantage at all hours of the day and night to help bring sanity into our lives :-).

Visit to MBTS - Day 2

Day 2 of the MBTS visit allowed Isabelle to spend some quality time with Nana, Papa, Uncle Tom, Cousins Matt, Frank and Danny. We all went to Dunkin Donuts and the playground. Isabelle also attended her first "Happy Hour" at Nana and Papa's house. Although she didn't have a beer she had lots of fun being passed around like an Hors D'oeuvre. Isabelle loved meeting "all of the family". After "Happy Hour", Isabelle and Mom rushed home to see Daddy!! We both missed Daddy!!

Visit to MBTS

Today was Isabelle's first visit to the North Shore. The first visit was a stop to hang out with Gina, Will and Michelle. We enjoyed lunch while Isabelle and her new friend Will slept. The next stop was a visit to Nana at work. It was fun to have Nana "show off" her 7th grandchild to her colleagues. Isabelle was so happy to see her Nana!! The final stop was Nana and Papa's house. Isabelle unpacked her bags for her first "sleep over". Isabelle was greated by her Papa, Aunt Peggy, Cousin Matt and a few of the curious neighbors. Throughout the night, Isabelle got to meet Uncle Bruce, Uncle Tom, Uncle Robert, Aunt Janet and Mrs. Arnaud. We had a very very busy day!!

Visit to WPI

Today, Mom and Isabelle ventured to WPI to visit the ladies in the Graduate Admissions Office. We had a great visit and the highlight was a diaper change on the top of the file cabinet. Mom is excellent at changing diapers no matter the setting, weather and challenges presented to her!!!

Isabelle Waking Up

We took this video of the "princess" waking up. Isabelle reminded Mom and Dad of how they wake up in the morning. Isabelle must have been dreaming of something wonderful because she sure didn't want to wake up!! Mom and Dad both learned that it is never a good idea to wake the princess from her beauty sleep!! Enjoy.

At the tender age of 2 weeks Isabelle has already learned that chores are necessary but very tiring. She was helping us do laundry and fell asleep on top of the warm laundry. She has been a big help to Mom and Dad so far and we love her very very much.

We have just entered week 2 of Isabelle's life and she is so fantastic. She is eating, pooping, and sleeping like a champ. We have been to the doctor twice and we even went food shopping. Isabelle has also started to enjoy being in the car and going for walks. The weather has been so nice and she has just started to enjoy being outside in the warm sun. Every day we all learn something new about each other and we are all adjusting to being a family of three !!
