Christmas 2008

Prior to Christmas we had a special gift delivered from Arizona! A visit from Bethany, Steven, Juliana and Amelia!! We spent the day playing, eating and catching up. Isabelle loved playing with her friends and Dad felt outnumbered (5-2, Girls to Guys - Thanks Steven) with all the princesses!!

A nice picture of Mary, Isabelle and me on Christmas Eve in the "Hood"! We kept with a great familiy tradition and spent Christmas Eve at George's parents. A special thanks to Grammy and Grampy for hosting us and the whole crew of neighbors including Drew, Amy, Lindsey, Bob, Sue, Lisa, Danny, Eddie and Toni. Isabelle was a trooper and loved hanging out as she kept us all on our toes!!

Isabelle had a great Christmas morning at Grammy and Grampy's house opening her presents. She is a spoiled brat but what else can you expect from Santa's #1 elf!!

Even Santa's elves need to sleep....Isabelle took a little rest on the way to Nana and Papa's house on Christmas afternoon.

We met up with Tyler, Julianna, Fern, and Kelly at Andrea's Christmas Party! It was great to see everyone while eating, drinking and catching up!!

Isabelle is also a happy camper :-) A special thanks to Nana and Papa for watching Isabelle last week while Mary and I hung out with Christina, Pete, Melissa and Amanda!! Isabelle loves using her very expressive eyebrows :-)

On Saturday, we cut down our Christmas tree. Isabelle had lots of fun picking out her special tree. She picked one that gives Santa plenty of space for her presents!!

Isabelle was a bit under the weather a few weeks ago and she is hopefully on her way the road to recovery. She is running all over the place, very curious and loves to play!! She has started to dance and loves to listen to all kinds of music - especially Christmas music these days!! We hope everyone has a great week and we hope to see you all over the next few weeks!

T-Day = Thanksgiving or Tired?

Hello Everyone! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!! Isabelle spent her Thanksgiving week with a delicious dinner at Grammy and Grampy's house (an appetizer of her favorite Vanilla Wafers). She loved the turkey but especially loved the carrots, corn and applesauce!!

We traveled down to RI to visit Bethany and the girls. We never stopped moving chasing Amelia, Julianna and Isabelle around!! We had so much fun hanging out and catching up with our AZ friends!! Can't wait to see our "Charmkin" friends at Christmas time!!

As you call can see from the above pictures, Isabelle did some chores on Sunday, took a bath (her hair was out of control) and she crashed hard after her busy weekend!! She is getting more teeth, talking up a storm (numerous languages), walking/running all around and of course laughing and smiling all the time. We are very thankful to have our little angel :-)

A hike and a weekend away!

Two weeks away and a lot has happened! Isabelle is now running all over the place and really loves to be outside. She wakes up in the morning, puts her jacket on, tries to put her shoes, walks to the door, points outside and mutters in sort of gibberish "Outside....". Isabelle has so many teeth in her mouth we can't count them all!!! Last weekend we all went for a little hike as Isabelle directed us which way to go. She enjoyed some treats when we finished! Isabelle also had some pudding and had a great time using her spoon - she is still working on her aim! As always, we worked in a few buggy rides and some quality playground time.

This past weekend Mary and I "got away" to a lovely B&B while Nana and Papa watched Isabelle. We spent the weekend relaxing, eating at a somewhat normal speed at fancy restaurants, and sleeping in past 8 o'clock! A special thanks to Nana and Papa who made it possible. We instructed Isabelle to catch up on her sleep and as you can see from the picture she listened!!

Halloween 2008!

Isabelle celebrated Halloween three times this week!! She was dressed as a Little Cougar and showed off her costume at a school party, the MBTS Wooblin Goblin trick or treating through town, and of course on Halloween night. Our pictures highlight her big week!

Isabelle has decided that she is ready to walk. About two weeks ago, Isabelle turned on her walking feet and hasn't looked back since!! She walks with lots of confidence and has been keeping Mom and Dad on their toes!! Although, we must admit we miss the scoot :-) A special thanks to Grammy as we spent Saturday morning getting Isabelle her first pair of sneakers and snow boots!

This weekend was lots of fun. Felix's birthday/christening was this weekend. We had a great time hanging out with Nana/Papa, family and friends. We went hiking with Isabelle, visited Paolo/Cecile and Joaquin, and hosted Grammy and Granpy for dinner. Here are a few glimpses into our weekend which included an ice cream lunch!

Even though Halloween isn't until this week Isabelle still wore her costume this weekend for various weekend activities. We decided to dedicate next weekend's blog to "all" Isabelle's Halloween activities - stay tuned!!

Two weeks of Isabelle

The past few weeks have been a lot of fun enjoying the wonderful Fall weather. Isabelle picked out her pumpkin and we continue to decorate the house with the Fall flare :-)

Isabelle and Joe are "best buddies". Joe celebrated his first birthday and helped the Red Sox force Game 7!! Happy Birthday Joe!

The weather is starting to turn and Isabelle has discovered her "footy PJs" - Mary and I are both wicked jealous as we want a pair!!

Last weekend we ventured off into the city to visit Drew and Amy. Mary and I took a walk through memory lane as when we took Isabelle to where George first picked up Mary for their first date - good old 7 Devotion!
