Isabelle meets the Princesses

We had a great day today visiting Amelia, Julianna, Bethany, Big and Little Stephen, Donna and Courtney. We had a great lunch and shared lots of stories and laughs. We don't see our friends as much as we would like but seeing them today brings to the forefront what Thanksgiving is all about. We are thankful to have such great friends and appreciate the time we get to spend with all of them. We are looking forward to Christmas!!!

Touring the vodka plant!!

What better way to get over one's turkey hangover than touring a vodka plant! Isabelle had a great time looking at all the lights, machines and learning how to make vodka!! We witnessed vodka being made and can't wait to have some samples!!

T-Day Party!

A special thanks to David and Kate for hosting the annual Thanksgiving after-party. Here are a few snapshots of the evening's activities. Isabelle was a hot potato being passed around family. As seen in the last picture Felix and Isabelle were quite tired at night's end of their first Thanksgiving. Indeed, a great time was had by all.

Bring on the Thanksgiving Eating!!

We ventured off to visit Grammy, Grandpa and Aunt Jen for Thanksgiving Dinner. Isabelle had a great first Thanksgiving and loved her velvet dress! In addition, Isabelle could not contain her excitement when Grammy pulled the 20lb turkey out of the oven - she almost ripped the turkey's leg off as evidence in the above picture.

Turkey Day

This week we woke up to find some unexpected guests in our front yard and our neighbor's backyard. We thought it was only fitting that these turkeys descended upon us this week especially as we all eat our Thanksgiving dinners today. Isabelle is our little chicken and now we have some little turkeys!!

Recap of the week

Fall is officially here! This week Isabelle was busy raking leaves, enjoying the Fall weather and hanging out with Mom and Dad. Isabelle is growing like a weed, getting her own personality and cooing up a storm. Isabelle also braved the harsh New England weather and expereinced her first snow storm this week (well we got a dusting!) on her way to story hour with her friends Cecilia, Julie, Paige, Brendan and Laura.

Welcoming Felix

Feliex deserves his own post. We were all lucky enough to see Felix at Isabelle's Baptism. He really made his presence known as he was passed throughout the party while never losing his smile. Here is a picture of Isabelle and her "baby" cousin!!

Isabelle's Big Day

As of today, Isabelle has officially rejected Satan and all his ways as she was welcomed into the Catholic faith. We all knew she was an angel but now inf ront of a standing room only crowd at the Church, Isabelle is now part of the angel club. Seriously, we had a great Saturday Baptism followed by a solid party with friends and family. We thank everyone for their continuous generousity. Here are a few snapshots of this special day including pictures of Dave/Jen (Godparents), our respective families, my godpaprents (Toni/Ed) and of course Isabelle, our official angel.

Sunday Walk

Mary and I started to get into the holiday spririt early as we took our winter clothes out of storage this past weekend. We couldn't resist using our daughter as a little prop as we emptied out the winter flair!! We also took a nice fall walk after a wonderful Sunday breakfast downtown. Isabelle enjoyed her Sunday!!!

Weekend Visitors

This weekend we were lucky enough to have some friends visit Isabelle. Drew/Amy and Sean/Darlene visited us and of course the main attraction, Miss Isabelle. We had a great time with friends exchanging laughs, stories and of course gossip. It is always great sharing time with our friends and introducing them to the quirks of our little critter.

Family Trip to McDonalds

Isabelle has successfully survived her first post-utero trip to McDonalds. Mommy treated (?) Isabelle to the McDonald's Dollar Menu throughout her pregnancy and now Mom, Isabelle and family (Danny, Frankie, Koda, Nana and Papa) enjoyed lunch together.

Hmmmmm

Isabelle earned the right to dress like a boy after going through three outfits in one day.....She looked a little confused with her outfit but until she starts dressing herself she is stuck with Mommy and Daddy's design choices. Maybe she will have a little brother soon to share her blue clothes with!!

Beautiful Sunset

Mary and I captured this picture from our kitchen the other night. The leaves are falling, the flair is decorating our house, the heat has been turned on, the wood has been collected and we are looking forward to seeing friends and family in the next few weeks as the holidays approach.
