A week of firsts........

Mary and I have been a little busy over the past few weeks with Christmas and all that goes along with that BUT during this time Isabelle continues to grow, laugh and smile. We have captured a few of these moments and have posted them on the blog for your enjoyment. We hope our little angel brings you as much joy during this holiday season as she brings into our life daily. Isabelle has told us numerous times that her first Christmas was the "best ever". As the holiday season passes us we hope to introduce Isabelle to those who have not yet to meet her and you know who you are :-)

Yes - every once in while she smiles at the camera. She is our "little potato"!!

Picking out the Christmas Tree

Isabelle survived her big trip out to pick of her first Christmas tree . A little explanation here - after we picked out the BEST Christmas tree money could buy, the chainsaw man basically sprayed took aim and sprayed sawdust directly at our helpless little Isabelle as she sat in bewilderment in her carseat. Luckily she has a strong neck and was able to "bob and weave" away from danger. Needless to say we all love our tree and will be decorating it this week - stay tuned for a future blog entry.

Lady's Night

This past weekend Mary and Isabelle ventured out to meet up with the "ladies". Little Isabelle loved hanging out with the ladies and although she didn't have any wine she still had a wonderful time.

We had a playdate this weekend with Julianna and her little(?) brother Tyler. After a little brunch we all hung out and relaxed as we caught up. Tyler and Isabelle also continued their little courtship through some baby talk and we believe Tyler asked Isabelle to go to the 2024 Senior Prom. A good time was had by all...........

Visiting Grammy for Lunch

Grammy treated Isabelle and Daddy to some lunch. We had a great time especially Isabelle who was the hit of Grammy's office. While at lunch Isabelle made her presence known through smiles, laughs and of course bottom burps!!

When one light goes out.....

Today, we put up our Christmas flair both inside and outside the house. Isabelle was also treated to her first "snow storm". We bundled her up and paraded her around outside to look at the lights and taste the snow!! Maybe next time we will make a snowman or better yet teach her the importance of shoveling!! The Christmas season is upon us and we couldn't be more excited to spend it with our daughter for the first time. Starting family traditions is exciting and seeing our daughter grow into these traditions adds to the rewarding experience of being parents.

Visiting Willa Wonka

Mary and I took Isabelle to the Candy Mansion today for the first time. The look on her face was priceless as we continuosly showed her candy, chocolate and toys. We were hot in pursuit for Willa Wonka but the staff informed us he vacations on Sundays. But to our surprise a special guest appeared - Santa himself. Isabelle awoke from her catnap just in time and bravely sat on Santa's lap. We all know Isabelle is a sweetheart but she needed to tell Santa in person what she wants for Christmas.

Hockey Season has Begun!

Hockey season has started for our family. Between coaching, playing and cheering our family will be busy. We have even started to indoctrinate Isabelle into the hockey culture and I think she really likes it - at least she is mesmerized when watching it on TV!!! Our little girl looks like a tough cookie in this picture but she is really sweet!!
