Weekend Activities

We had a short visit from Nana and Papa on Friday due to the fact little Isabelle wasn't feeling to hot (she is suffering from her first ear ache). Isabelle has been a tough little cookie and has smiled her way through it. On Saturday, we went to our neighbor's birthday party and on Sunday we ventured to the big city to visit Rob, Andrea and of course Landis. We stopped in at Grammy and Grampy's house on the way home and had a great time laughing, smiling and rolling over (well almost).......PS - Last Sunday, Melissa came for one last visit before starting her new life out west with her fiance - Hi Eric, we miss you! We had a "cougar of a time" this weekend!

Big Weekend!

Isabelle was a busy girl this week doing lots of fun stuff. Isabelle is a growing girl - she is 15lbs - and has started to use her high chair for her feedings! She attended her first book club (Kelly and Julie are missing from picture below) this weekend and loved hanging out with her girlfriends. In addition, she was able to meet her LA friend, Andy. Andy told Isabelle stories about LA and she was star struck for sure! In keeping with the LA theme, Isabelle also pulled off the "jean and uggs look" this week as she dressed herself in her first pair of jeans - they fit perfectly!! A vist by 5 deers in our front and backyard completed the weekend!

A busy week.....

Isabelle had quite a week. She traveled to Nana and Papa's to visit her cousins, played with Felix, visited Grammy and Granpy's house for some Chinese food, wore her new favorite pink hat, played in the snow and even got into the Spring Training spirit!! We hope everyone had a great week - we sure did! Maybe next week we will report on our Isabelle's first tooth......stay tuned!

Isabelle is spreading the LOVE!

Isabelle celebrated her first Valentine's Day in style. She had three days of Valentine's Day outfits and flair! Enjoy and know that Isabelle loves you all!

Finding some time

Sorry for all of our loyal blog readers - we have been slacking!! But to be honest, Isabelle is now 5 months old and is getting pretty boring ;-). Some may consider rolling over exciting??

Although the Patriots didn't win the Super Bowl Isabelle was able to watch Daddy's high school team - the Pioneers - (Isabelle was the "Lady Pioneer" in the stands) defeat their hockey rivals 3-1. Isabelle loved looking at the lights, listening to the music and watching all the action on the ice.

We think Isabelle is starting to get her first teeth - aka she has been a little grumpy at times this week :-). Isabelle has also let us know that she loves carrots much more than peas or squash! She has also persevered through a few colds and is back to her smiling and laughing self.

Through it all Mary and I both reflect at how lucky we are to have our special bundle. We have both truley been blessed and we are very thankful for each day with our daughter.
