Fall Fun !!!

How is it the middle of October already ?! I guess time flies when you are having fun. We have been busy with soccer, apple picking, celebrating Papa's birthday, and getting ready for Ellie's birthday :)

Isabelle started soccer last month. This picture is of her before her first practice. She has come along way and really enjoys playing.

Isabelle has started taking dance class again. And Ellie is looking forward to starting classes next year. Isabelle has been teaching all of us her new dance moves.

Last month Papa celebrated a big birthday. And to help him celebrate we threw him a surprise birthday party. And he sure was surprised !! We had a great day and we all laughed, cried, and ate like pigs. It was a great day.

Last month we also joined team Jack Attack and participated in the Walk to End Alzhimers. We had a great day and met some amazing people. Thank you to Jen and Tim for letting us join Team Jack Attack.

Since George and I both have jeeps we decided that the girls should have their own jeep too. It is scary and funny to watch them fly around the yard in their jeep. It is a sign of things to come in 12 years !!

Jay came over to play and I think he enjoyed playing with Play Doh as much as the girls did.

What would the fall be without apple picking? We went last weekend and unlike last year, we were all sweating. It was sunny and 80. We had a great time.

August Birthday Fun

August is a big month in the Spencer family. Isabelle and George both celebrate birthdays in August and it always seems to turn into a month long celebration. This year was no different, there were 3 parties this year. We had fun celebrating Isabelle turning 4 and George turning......

Before we look at all of the fun we had over the last few weeks. Let's take a look back at Isabelle's last 4 birthday celebrations.

I guess this is her most important birthday. This picture was taken when she was just a few hours old. I still remember that day so clearly.

And here she is one year later. What a cutie pie :)

 After her friend party we had a Spencer Family party at Grammy and Grampy's to celebrate both George and Isabelle's birthdays. It was supposed to be a pool party, but hurricane Irene decided to ruin that plan. But we still had a great time and a delicious dinner.

Next, we moved on to the Nana and Papa's for a birthday celebration for George, Isabelle, Will, and Matt. We had a beautiful day at the beach and then a yummy dinner. It was a perfect way to celebrate the birthdays and the end of summer.

August Excitement

I am not sure how it is already the end of August, time is flying by !! But we are enjoying every last second of summer. Below are the pictures of what we have been up to for the last few weeks.

Every August George rides in the PMC. This year the girl's and I were able to go to the start line and watch Daddy and thousands of other riders take off to start the ride. As always it was a great day and each year it becomes more and more fun for the girls to get involved.

A few weeks ago, we had a great play date with Christina, Clair, Melissa and Arwen. Melissa and Arwen came all the way from California for the play date :)
It was so wonderful to see Melissa and to meet Arwen.

A few weeks ago we went to Story Land for vacation. We had a really great time and

we are all looking forward to going back again next summer.

This past weekend, the time had come for Ellie's first hair cut. As you can see, she was not very happy about it at first. She was looking at Daddy's head and got scared that she was going to look like that !

But then a lollipop seemed to calm her down.


And then we had two beautiful girls with their sassy new hair cuts.
