Summer 2012

So far summer 2012 has been so much fun it is hard to believe that it is more than halfway over !!
We have seen old friends, gone to an amzing wedding on the Cape, been to my favorite 4th of July parade, been to the beach and pool, and even gone on vacation to Toronto. As always thank you for following our blog. Below is a recap of our last 6 weeks.

A super fun Spring!

I know you all have been waiting for a blog update - wait no longer - here it is!!!  We have been quite busy the last few weeks with the Tough Mudder, Dance Recital, Soccer, Birthday Party's, Parades, and enjoying the nice weather - here are a few pictures of the last few weeks!

The girls of the Tough Mudder!  We had a great time in a beautiful house in Vermont at this year's Tough Mudder.  The girls enjoyed the zip-line and this year Mary didn't fall off it - she overcame her fear.  The Tough Mudder was a blast and our team did so awesome - proud of everyone especially ME ;-)

The "Cuban Sandwich" Team!  We all trained hard and we played / partied hard too!

A proud Mom!  Isabelle is starting Grade K in September and she is so so ready!  She has fun writing her letters and reading stories! 

Isabelle has also being playing soccer this spring!  She loves running around and hanging out with her friends.  Their team usually scores less goals than the other team but they all have fun!!!  Especially all the side-line treats!

Cousin Katelyn turned 1 in May!!  It was a beautiful day for a beautiful girl!!

Easter and Spring Fun

It is hard to believe that Easter has come and gone and that it is almost May. We have had a wonderful spring so far. The weather has been amazing and we have been able to play outside and enjoy the nice weather. I really hope this great weather continues through the whole summer.

Below is a peek at what we have been up to over the last few weeks.

We started off our Easter weekend festivities by visiting the Easter Bunny. This was the first year Isabelle would actually go near the bunny.

Our next stop was at Grammy and Grampy's for an egg hunt. Needless to say, the girls loved the egg hunt.

VACATION !!!



We are happy to report that we all survived our first plane ride and family trip. Actually, not only did we survive, we had a great time and tons of fun. The girls were so well behaved on the flights and the whole week we were away. They earned another family trip next Spring :)

A huge thank you to Nana Mary for letting us use her house and Nana and Papa for dealing with us for 6 whole days !!

We were lucky enough to also see Paul and swim in his warm and wonderful pool. The girls loved it and are now asking for a pool in our back yard. I am not sure who had more fun in the pool, the girls or Papa :)

One day we took the day off from the beach and went to the Twins spring training game. I think Isabelle's favorite part was the cotton candy, Cracker Jack, and slushy.
