A weekend of family fun

We were very busy this weekend visiting with family. We went to visit Nana and Papa and were able to see tons of extended family members at Caelan's (the newest member of our family) baptism. Nana and Papa took care of Isabelle so that George and I could attned a going away party for our friends Sean and Darlene. We will miss you and Philly will never be the same when you move down there !

On Sunday we enjoyed a great walk and visit to the playground with Papa. Then we headed to Grammy and Grampy's to celebrate a belated birthday for Grampy.

We were busy, but Isabelle was great and enjoyed every minute hanging out with our families.

Dress up, Sickness, and Valentine's Day, Oh my !!

We have had a busy last few weeks. All three of us have been sick. But Spring is in the air so we are hoping that we are done with sickness for a while !! Wishful thinking.



On Friday Isabelle had a Valentine's Day party at school. It was so fun for George and I to hang out at school with Isabelle and her friends and teachers. Isabelle loves to play dress up. The above picture is her at school in her favorite dress up outfit.So along that same theme, Isabelle decided to play dress up at home with her sassy new "Cougar" coat :)Isabelle loved going through her valentine's day cards from all of her friends. She even got some candy. But she decided to share her candy with Mom and Dad :)

Mommy was very sick this weekend. So Isabelle and Daddy had to take care of her. They were great nurses. Isabelle gave mommy tons of hugs and kisses and that was just the medicine she needed to feel better. Dad was a superstar this weekend and also was a huge help to Mom !

Grammy came by for a visit and to drop off a Valentine's Day gift for Isabelle. We all went for a walk and enjoyed playing with Isabelle.

Got Pizza....and Bruins?

We had another great weekend! Isabelle had lots of fun practicing a few of her new tricks which include walking around with her pants half on, wearing pizza boxes, cheering on the Bruins, yelling "MORE" when she wants "MORE" food, and throws away her own diapers (doesn't quite change them yet but we are working on that :-). After visiting Grammy, we enjoyed a sneak peak of Spring and went for a buggy ride around the neighborhood!!

A week of thanks......

Mary and I have a few "thank yous" to extend. First we would like to thanks Mother Nature for all the snow in the past few week. Isabelle enjoyed the snow with Mom and Dad and helped out snow plowing as well.

Mommy would like to extend "thanks" to Isabelle for doing yoga with her!!

Mary and I owe a special thanks to Nana and Papa for taking care of Isabelle this past weekend while we spent the weekend in Boston relaxing with massages, pedicures, drinking and eating :-) In addition, thanks to Marc and Jill for a special surprise when we arrived. We concluded the weekend with a birthday celebration for the "January Girls" - Nana, Colleen, Grace and Mary. We had a great weekend and can't thank everyone enough!

In closing, a special thanks to Isabelle for being a great daughter!

New Years brings SNOW!

New Years brought us some snow and nice quality time with Colleen, Eric, Grace and Koda! We went sledding (even the grown-ups got in a few runs!) and had a cup cake party to celebrate Colleen, Grace and Mary's Birthdays!

Isabelle is getting over a little ear ache and is now back to her normal crazy self which is a relief for Mom and Dad! She continues to amaze her Mom and Dad and brings love, happiness and laughter into our worlds each day.

Christmas 2008

Prior to Christmas we had a special gift delivered from Arizona! A visit from Bethany, Steven, Juliana and Amelia!! We spent the day playing, eating and catching up. Isabelle loved playing with her friends and Dad felt outnumbered (5-2, Girls to Guys - Thanks Steven) with all the princesses!!

A nice picture of Mary, Isabelle and me on Christmas Eve in the "Hood"! We kept with a great familiy tradition and spent Christmas Eve at George's parents. A special thanks to Grammy and Grampy for hosting us and the whole crew of neighbors including Drew, Amy, Lindsey, Bob, Sue, Lisa, Danny, Eddie and Toni. Isabelle was a trooper and loved hanging out as she kept us all on our toes!!

Isabelle had a great Christmas morning at Grammy and Grampy's house opening her presents. She is a spoiled brat but what else can you expect from Santa's #1 elf!!

Even Santa's elves need to sleep....Isabelle took a little rest on the way to Nana and Papa's house on Christmas afternoon.

Isabelle and her cousin Felix (ie Mr and Mrs Claus) extending a Merry Christmas to each other on Christmas!!

A soon to be famous rendition of the Holiday Classic "Jingle Bells" sung by a handful of Isabelle's cousins on Christmas night!

We met up with Tyler, Julianna, Fern, and Kelly at Andrea's Christmas Party! It was great to see everyone while eating, drinking and catching up!!

Isabelle is also a happy camper :-) A special thanks to Nana and Papa for watching Isabelle last week while Mary and I hung out with Christina, Pete, Melissa and Amanda!! Isabelle loves using her very expressive eyebrows :-)

On Saturday, we cut down our Christmas tree. Isabelle had lots of fun picking out her special tree. She picked one that gives Santa plenty of space for her presents!!

Isabelle was a bit under the weather a few weeks ago and she is hopefully on her way the road to recovery. She is running all over the place, very curious and loves to play!! She has started to dance and loves to listen to all kinds of music - especially Christmas music these days!! We hope everyone has a great week and we hope to see you all over the next few weeks!
