This week's favorite pictures and Halloween Fun

This post is a little backwards. It is really hard to hold Ellie and create a good blog post. So you will have to excuse the randomness of this week's post :) Below are my favorite pictures from the past week.

Last week was another busy one for us. We had a Halloween party at Isabelle's school and then we went trick or treating in our neighborhood with our friends. Even the rain during trick or treating couldn't ruin our fun.

Ellie's first week

Ellie's first week has been busy and fun. She LOVES to sleep, eat, and poop. And doing all of those things makes her a very happy baby. Isabelle is really enjoying being a big sister and loves to help take care of her little sister. Below are some pictures of Ellie's first week of life.

We broke out of the hospital on Tuesday and had a nice relaxing car ride home. Ellie slept the whole way home. She looked so little in her car seat.

Ellie loves her bouncy seat. She likes to sleep with the music blasting and the lights flashing in her face. I think she is going to be a great sleeper like her Mom.

Ellie and Papa. Her cheeks look huge in this picture. But she really doesn't have chubby cheeks yet. But as you can see Papa has a calming effect on her.

We all went to Felix's second birthday party over the weekend. Uncle Dave is helping Isabelle swing at the pinata. This was Ellie's first birthday party. She slept through most of it :)

Our Newest Addition!

Eleanor Rose entered this world Saturday night at 8:45PM. She is super healthy and weighed in at 7.2 lbs and is 20.25 inches. Isabelle, her big sister, thinks she is "cute"! We can't wait for everyone to meet her!! The paparazzi has already taken a few pictures!

Fall Fun and Nesting

It has been quite a while since we last created a post. We have been busy enjoying the beautiful fall weather and getting ready for Isabelle's baby sister to arrive. My due date is 2 weeks from today, but truth be told, I think we are all ready to meet this little girl and start our lives as a family of four :)

Below is a quick recap of what we have been up to.

A few weeks ago we headed North to go to Christina's wedding shower. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful spot to celebrate Pete and Christina's upcoming wedding. Above is a picture of the happy couple.

We also got to hang out with Melissa. It was a special treat for us because Melissa lives far away. Isabelle and Melissa were having fun being silly together.

Isabelle and Daddy spent the afternoon in Boston while I was working. They went to the Frog Pond and had lunch with Marc.

This past weekend we had a play date with Kelly, Fern, Juliana, and Tyler. The picture above is the 3 munchkins eating pizza.

On Sunday we went to 2 farms to find a pumpkin for our "pumpkin." We had a great time farm stand hopping with Aunt Jen and Unlce Greg.

To all our loyal blog readers....we apologize for the lack of posts!! Here is a quick recap!!

Mary and I were fortunate enough to score some tickets to a Wheel of Fortune taping in the city. We have both grown up watching the show and it was crazy to see Vanna and Pat in person!! My Mom and Danielle joined in the fun and I think Mary and Danielle were caught on tape at least 12 times. Show will air 11/12 and 11/13!!

Tim and Jen got married last weekend!! Congrats to one of the best couples out there!! We had a great night away from our normal night to night routine and it was so much fun to catch up with our friends.

On Sunday we had a great play-date with some friends! Isabelle had a great time playing with Sophia and her toys!! We had the chance to catch up with Meredith and Isabelle loves her new duck!! She has already named it "Duckie Mer"....

Also on Sunday we went to a farm with Tim, Michelle, Elise and Joe. Joe and Isabelle got caught sitting on the pig :-) Elise sat on the cow :-) No animal was harmed.....

Isabelle turns 2 !!!!!!

After a week of celebrating her birthday Isabelle officially turned two today!! It is hard to believe that she is two years old already. She is the light of our lives and we love her so much. She brings happiness to everyone in her life and she is going to be an amazing big sister !! Happy birthday lady bug. We love you forever and ever and always !!

For the first part of her Elmo party, Isabelle wore her flower girl dress. But since it was about 9000 degrees with 100% humidity, she eventually decided to change into a cooler sundress.

Isabelle loved her Elmo beach cake. (So did Mommy). Thank you Grammy and Grampy for getting this very special cake for Isabelle.

Isabelle got her first bike (with matching princess helmet- of course). She loves riding her bike with her co-pilot, baby Curious George.

Daddy and Isabelle relaxing after the party. It was a really fun day, but throwing an Elmo party is very tiring.

Oh ya, Daddy had a birthday too. Poor George was sort of forgotten this year. All he got was this silly pop tart breakfast cake (He didn't even get to blow out this candle. Isabelle did it for him)and a small ice cream cake. But he was a good sport about sharing his birthday week with Isabelle.
