Glimpse into our week....

"Hi, I am Isabelle." I go one million miles an hour 24/7 :-)

Ellie is turning into a "big kid" right before our eyes! She is starting to sit up on her on, roll all over the place, laugh (sometimes even the belly ones) and continues to be a very mellow baby! We even think she might be getting some teeth!!

Isabelle continues to enjoy dance class! She had her fourth dance class this week and we practice her dances all the time at home. She has met a few new friends at dance class and loves eating donuts after dance class :-) It is amazing to see how Ellie and Isabelle are starting to interact with each other. Isabelle loves holding Ellie and Ellie lights up with huge smiles when Isabelle is around her. They are best buds!

Congrats to Ricki and Ezra with the birth of their son Jonah. We stopped by on Sunday to meet Jonah! As Isabelle said 'He is such a cutie pie.....' - congrats guys!

The Big City

We took Isabelle into The Big City to the Children's Museum for the special Curious George exhibit. Isabelle has been excited for this big trip for about a month as it was going to be her first time of the "Big Train". Little did we know that it would also be 70 degrees and an absolute perfect day for everyone. Here are a few glimpses into the day! A special thanks to Nana and Papa for watching Ellie while we got some long overdue quality time with Isabelle!

Isabelle loved playing in the Curious George special exhibit (along with hundreds of her other little friends). She spent about 3/4 of the time opening and shutting the elavator door :-)

A Very Special Day

Today we had the pleasure of spending the day with Marc and Jill and their team at the Special Olympics. We met some of the most amazing and warm people today. We are so lucky to have such great friends that volunteer their time to work with these extraordinary people. Thank you Marc and Jill for introducing us to your friends and to this event. We will never forget today. We are looking forward to the Summer Olympics !!

A few weeks of "Firsts" for the girls

We have been very busy for the last few weeks. As you can see from the title of this entry,we have had 4 big events. Read below and I will explain......

Ellie has decided that she wants to try to keep up with her sister. So she rolled over at 4 months old. With a figure like that it is hard to believe :)

Isabelle had her first haircut. She was scared at first, but was very brave and she looks super cute with her new haircut.

Isabelle started taking dance classes. She is slowly warming up to idea of being a dancer. What she learns now in class, will come in handy when she hits the ice with Daddy. I think she is more of a hockey player than a ballerina :)

Ellie started eating solid foods a few weeks ago and is doing a great job. She loves sweet potatoes and squash. And as you can see, she is a very messy eater !

A few snapshots of our vacation from blogging...

Ellie is really good at sleeping :-). She is a very mellow little girl and loves to "chillax".....

Ellie is also very good at eating :-). She has started to eat some cereal and lets just say we can't get in her mouth quickly enough!!

Isabelle continues to be a great big sister and is very good with Ellie. She is Mom and Dad's big helper and really loves Ellie. She loves to sing her songs, read her books and give her hugs/kisses!!

Again, a special thanks to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers over the last few weeks. Mary's Dad is doing great and well on his way to running the marathon after receiving his new knee.
